What is the Service Management Qualification Scheme?

The Service Management Qualification Scheme (SMQS), is a credentialing program for individuals working within any service business or service provider organization, including an IT organization.

The SMQS offers an additional layer of professional recognition, above and beyond the USMBOK certification scheme.

The SMQS is role-based, and reflects the types of responsibilities, knowledge skills and abilities, required to establish and sustain an effective and efficient service organization.

The examinations are designed to be compatible and conformant with ISO 17024 guidelines, providing a completely independent assessment of your capability to understand, recall, and apply service management specific concepts and methods.

Detailed information on the SMQS and its various credentials is available at the University website here.
